After work last night I came home to an awsome meal that was prepared ahead of time but seemed to magically appear in the space of about 5 minutes. Wow. Tasty too. We headed out to Silverstr‘s place and along with cuvarack and bear and Iambe we watched Star Wars Episode I and II. I’m not sure if I had forgotten how slow Episode II was in the middle, or I was tired, or I still hadn’t caught up on sleep from last weekend, or what, but I conked out somewhere in the middle, only to regain conciousness for the kick ass battle at the end.
Came home, slept till noon. I needed that, even if it was interrupted by cats coming up and demanding (demanding) to be petted randomly throughout the morning. Got up and Firefly made banana and chocolate chip pancakes (the chocolate chips covered up the cardboard taste of cheap pancake mix nicely mmmm…. ), and then we watched a borrowed DVD of Star Trek Nemesis which wasn’t as bad as I’d thought it would be.
Now we’re waiting the arrival of people to head over to Fred’s place for his yearly BBQ. Mmm…. burgers…..
Were buzzed a couple of times by the Blue Angels as they are in town for the Abbotsford Airshow. Haven’t seen or heard them for a while now though 🙁
