GNOME 2.6 Out

Yup, looks like Gentoo is one of the first with a release, kinda. You have to comment out the “big ass gnome 2.6 mask” in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask, but other than that, updating to the latest GNOME release is as easy as ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~x86 emerge gnome (the gnome 2.6_r5 package is actually the final release). That and through the joys of my two node distcc cluster, it's compiling happily away.

Probably a good thing cause I need to spend some time in windows world to work on my arch nemesis, the Succession Planning Module in the ASP project. Oh. The. Joy 😛
