The Rex Report

Finally, finally got around to getting Rex to the vet for a follow up on the surgery he had late last year on his eye and ear. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, but it seems that lately every day something is happening, or by the time I get home, have dinner, and relax a bit it’s 9 or 10pm and I just don’t have the energy to take a cat to the vet. I’ve also been probably putting it off because I was scared that things would have gotten worse, or that something else was up, or something like that.

Good news from the doc…. all is good! His eye is looking fine, and the stitches are almost all melted away. His ears (what I was mostly worried about) are also good, and while they aren’t hugely better, they’re no worse and were “looking good”.
