Well the insurance company finally came through, and came through big. I got home last night to a nice big fat check sitting in the mailbox. Looks like they basically took all the numbers I sent them and said “yup, works for us” (at least based on a spot check against my spreadsheet). So now I have to coordinate with other people to spend said money and get receipts back to the insurance company so they can send the remaining 50% of the cost. Of course, other than what I bought most of the stuff isn’t mine, so that money won’t be going to me, but man it’s going to look good in my bank account for a few days 🙂
