Decided to do a “long one” today. Celebrate the weekend with some pain and hardship, work off some of the scotch from last night, all that.
Not too bad. Got out before it got too hot and actually finished 2 minutes faster than my last couple. Not that 1:06 is any sort of screaming time, but it’s nice to see a bit of extra speed. That’s also with a significant hill in the middle too.
Stats for the run not recorded:
- Talked to a person with a little dog – ✅
- Talked to a person with a big dog – ✅
- Talked to a guy with a super old car he was shining up on the driveway – ✅
At the end I was sweaty and gross, but didn’t feel like I was going to die. I wonder what would happen if I actually tried to run instead of lumbered just to get it over with.
