Losing Your Rhythm

Ever have one of those days (mornings) where you totally lose your rhythm? I’ve been out of work so long, or at least of out the sort of work that makes you get up in the morning on someone elses terms, that I have forgotten how to do it. I woke up and thought to myself “what now?” I honestly didn’t know what to do. I really should have written it down from when I was working so I could go back and have a reference. Do you shower first? or eat? or make lunch?

These are things I think about. Yes, I do scare myself.

  1. I’m sure next Monday I will be in the same boat as you! That’s when I officially start the training. Up early, go to the gym, come home, and study, study, study, oh and somewhere in there I have to eat as well =)

  2. Sounds like me every day… when you’ve got multiple courses on the go, plus multiple clients, plus multiple projects at each client each which involve different languages and stuff, it takes a couple of hours to get going, remember where you left off, remember what you had to do in the first place, then spend 10 minutes actually writing the code… by that time, it’s time to move on. Must be nice to have time to still go to the gym and study, study and eat. Well, I guess it’s not that bad… but I still wonder when I’m going to get all this homework done… yawn
