Found a good site with lots of technical data on Lunar Eclipse Photography. There are also some good tips in this dpreview thread. Since my last attempts at photographing the nice full moon failed again (still too long a shutter speed… moon was still washed out…), this is good info. What the rule of thumb seems to be (to start at anyway):
The guide is that for the moon use f/11 at shutter speed of 1/ISO, so 1/100th for ISO 100, 1/400th for ISO 400 etc.
