DVD Player Suggestions

Anyone have any suggestions for a good DVD player to replace my aging one? Nothing wrong with the toshiba I have, but I’ve found it’s not working properly with some divx->DVD conversions I’ve tried and it doesn’t play PAL format (even my parents $50 DVD player does this). It’d be nice as well to have something that plays DivX/AVI/xVid as well. Anyone have any suggestions of good ones or sites to visit that’ll give good ideas?

we have an Rjtech….cheap but works well and plays divx and xvid without a problem picked it up at NCIX.COM

Nathan got us a Panasonic for xmas a few years ago, and it’s been great.

I’ve been wondering the same thing, my wife keeps complaining that her Friends DVD’s are skipping and we NEED a new player. I did some shopping around, man, so many players to choose from. I found the Philips DVP642 DivX-Certified Progressive-Scan DVD Player on Amazon and placed an order, but that was over a month ago cos it’s back ordered.
Looks like a solid player that handles many media types, super thin and only $70. Not bad.
