Nothing like waking up lesiurely after a late night out, hitting the snooze “just one more time”, starting a shower, and realizing just then that you have a phone meeting in negative 15 minutes. Youch. Only was a few minutes late and got to enjoy the rest of the 2 hour meeting. Uhmm…. “yay”.

RAID + EVMS Assistance Please

Ok, here’s the situation. I’ve got a big-ass file server that currently is running 3x80G in RAID5 and 2x120G in RAID1. Lately I’ve been moving files around, symlinking between the /shared partion, the /mp3 partition and so on. Not fun, and a bit of (no, make that a lot of) a pain in the ass.

New MT Install

Those reading by RSS won’t notice, however I’ve installed the newly released Movable Type 3.2. Gotta say, the upgrade process was nice, and some of the features (built in plugins, anti-spam stuff, auto-backup of templates, ability to revert to default templates, etc) are pretty nifty.
