RSS Feeds Done!

Finally got around to doing what I promised ages ago. It was simple, just copy the .pl plugin that Unix-Gal suggested, change the MTEntryExcerpt to MTEntryBodyMore, add a resolve_urls=”1″ tag, rebuild, and voila! My RSS feeds, for the aggregators out there, now contain full entries. Now, I can get pretty verbose sometimes, so I hope

Confusion about World Opinion

I wrote the following up in response to my buddy foz‘s questions about the opinions around the world about the war. I posted it as a comment to his BLOG but felt it was a decent bit of writing about how I feel about it so I thought I’d include it below. It basically boils

Quicktime under Linux Without Crossover

Just discovered today thanks to a post on the gentoo mailing list that there is a package called “mplayerplug-in” (not the best name IMHO). This plugin allows mpg/avi/mov playback (ie: the apple movie trailers page). One of my clients has a client that wants (basically) what Lotus Notes does but without having to buy Lotus Notes. They want to share calendar events with specific people,

Yosemite and Light

Through some random surfing I found the site called A Whole Lotta Nothing which has a neat article on Yosemite which contained a note about light, and a pointer to a page on light in photography which contained a picture of Vera Falls. This picture looked oddly familiar. It turns out that I took a
