Hooked on The Sopranos

I borrowed 5 seaons of The Sopranos from my uncle in law last week and let them sit for a while, until I was sick with a cold last week before finally putting the first disk in, just to check it out. Damn, what a great show! It certainly helped that I saw Goodfellas for […]

Heroes and Mr. Sulu

Anyone else out there watching Heroes? Man, it’s finally starting to get good. Not that it hasn’t been good, but there’s been a lot of build up and what feels like getting you ready for big and exciting things to happen, but not a huge amount of payoff so far. This last episode (caution, minor

Battlestar Galactica

So the new Battlestar Galactica series started this weekend (up here in Canada we got the first episode after the miniseries, in the US it was two) and I have to say, it kicked ass. I saw the three hour, two part miniseries on DVD (again) last weekend over at Sean’s place, so that got

Thoughts on the Angel Finale

Interestingly done. Pretty good, but lacking the (really) good tongue in cheek humor that has been bringing the show back to life the last while. The ending seemed to say that Joss Wheaton knows there is the possibility of bringing it back next season. Overall good, but really didn’t feel like a season finale somehow.
